Did Muzan Love His Daughters?
In demon slayer we have Muzan the demon king who is insanely strong and the final villain of the story.. A guy that was revealed in the databooks, to have not 1, not 2 but 3 half demon biological daughters, who were also completely unaffected by the sun.. Daughters he created as experiments to help him achieve his goal of becoming immune to sunlight.. A quest he of course failed to complete in the end but one that sparked the question within the community.. The question is whether or not Muzan, the uncaring and psychotic demon king.. Actually cared for his daughters at all or simply only saw them as a means to achieving the power he so desperately chased for over 1000 years. Because if he didn’t develop any feelings for them whatsoever then why didn’t he absorb them like he planned to do with Nezuko.. The only logical reason seems to be that he actually did attempt to do this at some point in the past, but failed, likely because of 1 of these two possibilities, one, his daughters not stemming from sun breathing lineage, meant their immunity wasn’t absorbable or 2 the fact that unlike nezuko they never consumed the blue spider lily..
