The Ameriprise American Express Platinum card had a sudden change today which for some maybe considered a negative change. And we saw Chase and Discover jump on the 1099 bandwagon as well. Plus as always, I'll be answering your questions!

Good video. Had quick off subject question. If I go ahead and grab the spg businesses card before the increase will I end up being grandfathered foe the lower annual fee or just good for one year?

Yeah I have ameriprise and not sure keeping it once the af is due. You can get pp from other cards with much lower fee and not sure delta lounge is worth the cost since doesn't have any other benefits
Btw can you get deductible for af now that you are being taxed for referrals?

So I tried out Door Dash and $600 was also the minimum for the 1099.

I agree AMEX should update the travel credit, earnings rate for points, and the travel protection.
as well as I really don't want to refer people now that I have to pay taxes on it, unless they let you refer as many people as you want with no limit. that would be more appealing if you can refer as many people as you want then I wouldn't mind paying the taxes
