Hey! So for anyone a bit confused SCP-173 is a character based on internet lore. If it is near, it can kill you but only when you stop looking at it. I see that might help some of you guys understand the song 😀

I completely love this song!
The atmosphere it creates, the fact that there’s no plot twist near the end (basically, SCP-173 doesn’t escape), the burst of excitement in the last part that still doesn’t ruin the staticity of the situation, the fact that you don’t give any in-depth analysis to The Sculpture but keeep it the statue that… just kills, and nobody knows why.

I’ve never found SCP-173 creepy, but I swear, listening to this song while watching the video really gave me the chills of being in the presence with a hard, heavy stone statue that will just break your neck as soon as you blink.

I love how you had to "wait" for the beat to truly start, because in the beginning the song seems so calm and slow. But then the end is *intense*

The quiet, droning instruments paired with the controlled, oddly calm tone of this song, contrasting the fervent speaks of carnage in the bridge is nothing short of genius, as 173 himself doesn’t do much but silently follow you, and when he catches you, there’s that brief moment of intensity...then silence again.
