This song is so powerful and so beautiful, especially in light of the identity crisis many young people are facing in this modern era. People are looking to identify themselves as something--anything, seeking to find meaning in a false identity. They elevate themselves to a status where only God should be. But the truth is that we are not sovereign, and that's a good thing. We don't get to define ourselves in any way we choose--we can only find identity and meaning in Christ.

That's why the message of this song is so lovely yet counter-cultural. The world says "Your body, your choice." But the Bible says "For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." 1st Corinthians 6:20
