Root: Woodland Alliance - Is 1 Base or 2 Better?

3 Bases doesnt make sense, and 1 is a must but does 2?? We took a bunch of data from a bunch of games and performed a bunch of mathy, statistical analysis to see what the ideal number of simultaneous bases is for the Woodland Alliance. Lets take a look!

2 base is always my preferred strat with these guys. I do three officers max. Late game rounds basically go spread sympathy, craft (cobbler, command warren, sappers almost exclusively), mobilize, recruit, move, then organize. I also hit a 17 point blast score with them. That is still my highest blast score to date.

Yeah, it's more about how many unique path the base or set of bases connects to where you can put down tokens. Hence, a single mid fox base (assume cat started top right) is better than bottom right rabbit + center mouse combined, due to duplicated connected path.

I think 2 bases is better too but you forgot an advantage for having only one base, you can threaten a second revolt with your sympathy so you can easily slow down the cats if they have to attack u every turn.

the stats you got - were they against bots or people? just asking since its the steam version
