You've got the pieces all working well together. I know there were a lot of details and things to figure out off camera to get to this point. The steering wheel is central to making the interior and dash look period correct. But I can understand the change to a smaller wheel.

Hello.
Installation of electric power steering unit!
The telescopic steering shaft is great.
No need for big steering for electrification. Small steering is good.
The machining improvement of steering tube is also great.
Your work is always excellent.

Man, you jumped through some hoops on that one! Even Nissan parts. I like having the original steering wheel, but I don't really like those big wheels. Being electric steering, I think I'd go with the smaller one. Nice fix Lloyd. 👍

How's she goin'? Interesting project here Rusty! Lots of head scratching I bet and some neat 'shop engineering' to get the results you were after. I would say this is the 'draw' that would make me want to rebuild an antique vehicle. But I would need to get someone else to do the body work!! LOL Great job and take 'er easy!!!
