I had a parrotlet and got a green cheek. They insist on using the same cage but it’s in a bird room so the door is never shut. They seem to bully each other a little but the green cheek will push the parrotlet to the edge of the perch and then push her off with her foot. So rude and hysterical at the same time. 😂

We've owned a couple of bonded aggressive male Parrotlets for a couple of months and we just acquired a 5yr old male GCC yesterday, which is also showing aggressive traits. Allowing them to fly in the same room together is stressful! Chasing them around and trying to keep them separated is a pain. Thinking how hard the GCC bites (ouch!!), that would surely hurt either of our Parrotlets. So, I'm now allowing them to fly separately while keeping the other in thier cage. Well, until they get used to each other.
We're first time owners of parrots so this is pretty huge for us to take on these 2 different birds. We're learning everyday and trying to apply what we learn and at the same time, trying to find ways to lessen thier aggressive behaviours.
Any tips?
