Hey people! What nobady tells you, you need NANO SIM card, not MICRO SIM. Cut micro Sim on NANO sim dimension, and it works!

The one we ordered had a defect in the SIM tray that slot is closed off.

I got a Galaxy Tab A9+ and it was supposed to have an opening (like the one in this video does) for a SIM card--but it is closed off with plastic. I called the toll-free Samsung help line and the woman told me specifically to go to one of 2 Best Buy stores near me (and she even gave me the addresses for them), stating that they would be able to help me. I asked her specific questions, such as, "How will they help me? Will they know how to fix this?" to which she just kept repeating the exact same line, "They will know what to do." They had no idea what to do and didn't know why Samsung sent me to them. It would be great if someone could help us...we paid for these tablets, and they weren't cheap, either.

For those who have no hole in the SIM part of your tray check for the IMEI number. It should be on the back of the tab and on the box it came in, as well as the About Phone/Tab/Device setting. If it's not there you don't have a sim-ready device. I recently purchased an A9 specifically with the requirement that it had a SIM slot. Foolishly I did not look for the IMEI number on the box at purchase time but was able to return the opened box back to the store I purchased it from as mis-sold.

But actually I came here looking for the model numbers of the A9s that are sim-ready. If anyone could help, please ...

I was puzzled as like other posters advised that the sim tray was closed off. I will try and call Samsung galaxy to get a replacement SIM tray.
