Where to visit as a first time traveler #shorts

The country on each continent that I would recommend for a first time or beginner traveler

And I’m only using places I’ve been to myself

So for example, in Asia the best answer MIGHT really be Japan, but I haven’t been there yet so I didn’t say it!

Europe - Italy 🇮🇹
There’s a reason Italy has so many visitors every year. They have amazing sights, culture, food, and it’s very accessible. This is somewhere a first time traveler can enjoy and feel at ease.

Africa - Egypt 🇪🇬
This one was tricky, but I think Egypt is perfect for a beginner traveler if they do it in the correct way. There is a HUGE tourism industry in Egypt that caters to visitors. You can sign up for guided tours, stay in the nicest hotels/resorts, and even do Nile River cruises. All while seeing all the best sights.

Asia - Thailand 🇹🇭
The ultimate budget friendly destination with extremely friendly locals. Thailand is a place with a booming tourism industry so the country is very used to welcoming travelers. And because of this many people you interact with may speak some English. Plus you can experience things from relaxing beach vacations at resorts, adventurous travel, or just explore cities.

Oceania - Australia 🇦🇺
Either Australia or New Zealand are both great choices here. Both countries speak English, have a lot of cultural similarities to North America and Europe, are very safe, and the locals are sooooo nice!

South America - Argentina 🇦🇷
Depending who you ask this might be the best continent in the world, but a downfall might be safety in some countries. With that being said, I think Argentina is one of the safest and most enjoyable countries in South America. Buenos Aires is a vibrant city that feels like a blend of Europe and Latin America. But the country also has a big tourism industry with places like Patagonia and Iguazu Falls.

North America - Canada 🇨🇦
I’m half American and half Canadian and honestly think Canada would be a better place to visit for the first time on the continent. Mainly because of safety, friendliness of locals, and it’s not as overwhelming as the USA.

Thailand is my favorite and I visited 5 times

I’m one of those weird people that Italy doesn’t even make my top ten places in Europe I want to visit. I’ve been to a few places but that’s been waaaay back in the 90s. I recently got my passport in order and have been planning a trip to Czech in 2025. I follow a few on YouTube to learn about CZ and the culture. Keep up the great (and informative) work! Generally speaking from your experience, I see lots of layovers in Europe that are like an hour prior to heading your Prague. That seems insane to me. (Too short) what has been your experience?
