Why can't I play The Challenge in Geometry Dash 2.2?

The Challenge is a secret level. You can access it through the Vault of Secrets. It is necessary to type “the challenge” there. However, it alone is not enough, you have to gather 200 Diamonds, too. In the regular circumstances, it should unlock after fulfilling those requirements. However, many people inform that after starting a new save, The Challenge is bugged. It does not unlock. If you are one of them, don’t worry, it is a common problem. Sadly, at the moment, there are no workarounds which are able to overcome this issue. It seems that we have to wait for an official patch.

Unfortunately, we have to be prepared that it will be a few days before implementation of some fixes, as Holiday/Christmas period is approaching and many people, including developers, will have a break from work. It may be also true in the case of RobTop Games.

The new Geometry Dash 2.2 update is here! There are new levels, mechanics, characters, and secrets! The game is more than just what it seems to be, the simple levels. It has more than just Stereo Madness all the way to Deadlocked. It has journey, experience, achievements, secrets, and a whole new life to experience. There's two bugs that we mobile players have, which is Scratch's shop still not loading and our progress being lost.

I know how to fix go in gd world enter the challenge and make sure to sign in you gd world account then go back then enter the challenge 0:35

Same thing is happening with scratches shop because when you get 500 dimionds he will tell you to come in but it doesn't let you in and if you keep clicking it he will just say the same thing over and over

Its very easy : First save your data and then load the data in gd world and then enter the challenge and then save the data and then again load in gd and you will get the challenge

Heres how to get it
1: download gd world
2: Make a account in that gd version then Load your icons to that game then type the challenge in vault of secrets
3: load it again but this time in the og version then you have it.

Hey guys so you know in Geometry Dash World when you clicked the challenge it works so you need to press save and load it and with the 500 Diamond Shop

I had that problem but it only worked in gd world, but I can’t get the gatekeeper, atleast it got fixed.

I tried this and it worked for me, just because you typed “the challenge” not “THE CHALLENGE”

For those curious, Its fixed now! Just install 2.206, go to the vault of secrets, type in the challenge, and the button actually appears now!
