Unboxing the M1 Ultra Mac Studio & Studio Display!

We picked up a new Mac Studio and a Studio Display on order day last week, but unfortunately they arrived a bit late in the day so we weren't able to unbox them yesterday morning. We did a late night unboxing, though, which we're able to share today for those who want a closer look at Apple's newest studio devices.

also, no one worries about screen thinness. it's just a dumb thing to bring up. if it's a CRT, then yeah, bring it up, NO ONE LOOKS AT THE SIDE OF THE SCREEN TO WATCH VIDEOS!

Since the Studio Display is so thick and has speakers and cameras, is it possible that it will be the next iMac eventually?

I feel the display is so overpriced for what it is, especially with no HDR or higher refresh rate. I don’t think it really needs its own processor either, surely the mac itself can process whatever it needs to do with audio/video.

Interested to see how the mac studio evolves with whatever next gen chips coming

What's disappointing for me is that after 12 Years Apple is still making a 27" screen it's largest consumer level screen. I exclude the 32" Pro Display as with Tax it's a $7000 purchase, completely outside the average Americans budget.

Why can't they make a 30+ inch monitor with 4K at a reasonable price. Even this just released studio display, with no height adjustment, for $1750 inc tax for the same screen quality as what's been around since 2014, 8 Years, is outrageous in my view.

Poor show Apple, you are becoming an elitist organization that is leaving behind many consumers.

Not the best unboxing video, each bit is discarded like thrown aside, and opening looks rushed & clumsy in what looks like such a small space, then if an attempt was made for ASMR you need to remove the huge hum that runs through the video, maybe turn the annoying background radio off & the air conditioning off before filming!
