For me, No player really stood out for me. Not to say they were bad, they were all sort of where I expected them to be performance wise. However, OUR PRESSING was immense. I don't think girona managed to make a successful 6+ passing sequence for like 70 minutes. Flick's fingerprints are all over this team now, and that's impressive from him.

Lewandowski being 6.5 is a bit harsh, I think he was more of a 7/7.5 because Olmo and Pedri got the space they need to score those goals because of Lewy's presence and movement. In the replays you can see that for Olmo's goal Lewy's movement dragged 1 defender with him so that Olmo can receive the ball with minimal pressure and Casado's pass for Pedri was misread by some Girona defender because of Lewy's positioning leaving a ton of space in behind for Pedri.

TL/DR; The goals was a brilliant bit of skill from Olmo and Pedri but the space they got to produce those brilliance was afforded to them by Lewy.

Ter stegen hate continues. The man had a good save at 2-0. Ter stegen deserves a 7.5 or 8 at least.

The day we are gonna have another keeper, is probably the day you guys will realize just how good ter stegen is. I just feel like you are used to his performances in the past where he was arguably the best keeper of the world. Now he is just one of the top 5. But thats still realy good.

Marc Casado has been performing really well! I think García also plays welk in that position when he comes on, maybe in a couple weeks against Getafe or Osasuna he should start to give Casado some rest

Stop giving any rating to ter Stegen if you’d not keep bias out of it. He had a good game, the goal was no fault of his, as a goalie if you come out and fail to get the ball first the next smart thing to do is avoid making contact with the attacker else you risk giving away a penalty, which is what ter Stegen did. You people always want to scapegoat him unnecessarily and it’s getting boring.
