If an enemy even GETS an elite kirov, you have done something horribly wrong. That said, the difference in turning scatter off was pretty scary.

Flak deals aoe damage tho, so its much better against group of flying anything that is stacked. Like 4 allied planes.

Anyone who cheesed Operation Red Revolution knows kirovs can pass a flak cannon and survive.

It's actually insane to think that the Flak's lack of utility against something as high-HP as a Kirov is purely because of scatter. If it hit every shot it would be a monster.

I don't have yuri's revenge so this is my first time seeing the gatling cannon. So I have to ask. Is it practical. Like against anything other than a Kirov?

The range of the flak canon is greater than both patriot missiles and gattling cannon. It should have been reflected here.

It is matter of the canon of the game. Allied vs. Soviet. Imo flak was made coz to counter allied air units which are mostly in groups like the harriers, rocketeers, and the carrier. While the allied patriot deals on single target as kirov usually must be dealt 1 at a time, and soviet before R2 Yuris revenge only have 1 air unit.
