The only thing I don't like about the look are those absolutely MASSIVE transport shuttle hubs which are literally a % of the planets mass for each one build. They look wayy too important for simple hubs tough else the game looks like a must have in graphical and gameplay terms.

So I guess the derelict dyson sphere are from ancient civilizations who did realise that building an actual shell around a star was impossible
