so im trying to figure out how we get the control for the thumb not on the floor but on the stick in my mini excavator

Actually the PC35mr has the foot pedal on the left foot
He is actually using the PC30 mr. It has the thumb control

Q;Is that thumb control running g an electric switch over hydraulics?

Is that the standard thumb control pattern (left toggle closes, right toggle opens)? That seems intuitive, but mine is opposite and I keep opening when I want to close and vice versa. I'm a first time operator, BTW, with a grand total of about 10 hours of experience. 🙂
