So amazing to see this now. I went to school here from 1994-1999 when it was a school as a really young kid, it was the most magical place with amazing people. The memories that were made now locked in those grounds forever will be treasured by so many people make this place priceless. Lovely to see its new life today! Bless the Wareham family who owned it when they ran the school

Just amazing how huge this property is, £4million! Compare this to a similar priced property in London.

It’ll be £4 million, because it’ll be hard work to clean and it is most likely a fairly old build. But if you don’t mind breaking a sweat every once in a while and you like old builds, this is an unreal buy. Beautiful.

It’s too beautiful to pass up. I love how modern the house is but the beauty and history wasn’t sacrificed in any way. This was a lovely tour. Thank you!

This place is massive, reminds me of the house my father's friend lived in when I was a kid, it was as big as this or bigger and only two people lived in it, it was amazing and ridiculous at the same time. Aside from being a maintenance nightmare, I really like it and the price isn't bad.

As a Derbyshire Lass, I love old grand houses to start with, but being disabled now, one that seems is disabled accessible in parts and could be fully disabled accessible, is really appealing, if only could win the Euro Millions, I would seriously think of buying this property, to turn it into a both a long term Veteran's Residential Property, with Veteran's Holiday Guest quarters too, plus keep the Wedding and Function Venue going, plus develop holiday guest cabin business too.

Along with turn the whole estate, off grid green energy self-sufficient too, plus create Disabled Veteran's Flowers and Vegetable Gardens too, as well as form a Veteran's Cricket Team, plus both form a Veteran's Football and Veteran's Ruby Teams, using the existing cricket pitch and creating a new football plus a new ruby pitches, with built a new fully disabled accessible Sports Club House and bar plus Gurkha restaurant too, with separately built fully disabled accessible changing rooms, showers and toilets building, for the home veteran's teams and visiting teams.

As well as built a new outdoors large old fashion band stand, for military bands and musical groups, could come and play in, to entertain the general public on open weekends and guests plus residents too.

Lastly create a Service Dog and Service Pony Training Centre with Stables and Kennels, plus indoor and outdoor training rings too, , For training both Service Dogs and Ponies, to look after Disabled Sensory and Physically Disabled Veterans, . As well as training Emotional Support Dogs and Ponies plus Horses, for Veterans with PTSD too, with creating long walking and riding tracks around the grounds.

Finally only employ Veterans and Service Family members, to work on the estate too, including a Veteran's Classic Car Collection with garage building too, with these classic British cars and Military |Vehicles, would be available to be hired for drives in the Peak District, or for wedding or even for a veteran's funerals too, driven by Veterans too.

I bet you were not expecting this kind of comment, were you, Namaste Gurkhamum Wendy

These houses are gems! Don’t make them rubbish by adding weird things in them…
Don’t make them look ridiculous!

Choose the traditional English countryside style.

Its hard to believe this is just £4M, I cannot imagine how much this property would be down South. Another great tour 👍

Suggestion for all home tours but especially for large ones like this. Adding a transparent image of the floorplan with an indication of where the tour is on the map would be very useful in helping visualise

Great tour. What an amazing property. 30 acres land as well. It's absolutely insane that it's same money as that silly underground 3 bed dungeon in Altrincham

Wow just wow! This place is amazing.. how that can be for just 4, 000, 000 is mind blowing.. and have it in a heartbeat but skint and not sure I’d want to run a wedding buisiness

Yes I agree with the comment I was getting dizzy with the camera moving so fast. Maybe this tour should have been done in two parts to really give a bit more time in the spaces. Such a massive space at that price? Makes you wonder?

This is beautiful, much nicer in my view, than the really much more expensive apartments in London. I love these mansion houses or manors, not sure which is the correct term. I would like to have known when it was built. Love the internal decor and all that green space outside. Simply lovely.

I wish I had the money to be able to buy and maintain a beautiful historical place like this..what a treasure it is.

Love the house, I wish they had kept the old look to the interior though. This could tempt be back to the UK, let's see if I can raise the money.

I could easily see this extraordinary property shared by up to 4 couples !! TALK about an incredible Retirement Possibility !!! 1 Million each? Very do-able..considering how much Reitrement in London would cost !!!

I think UK country real estate is just so undervalued.. and honestly there are so many wealthy people out there.. that this would be like a drop in the bucket for them.. and I would ditch the commercial side of it.. and have a real house. and decorate it up nicely.

The room off the front entrance is an Arboretum meant for tropical palms, an Oranry were seperate buildings, also meant with large glass door so the Orange trees could be moved outside for the summers. Yes both tropical plants, but diffrent, The Arboretum might have had at one time a water feature before the renovations, So a Adams style cieling in the formal Living/ lounge (in the day Parlor) Room, a trayed jacobean cieling in the formal Dining room, with victorian fireplace surround of the 1860-70s, Library with Jacobean cieling, guessing the current kitchen is in the old Brakfast dinning room with that lovely fireplace, Upstairs very American contempory with old granduer touches, but all the modern amenities!!! Its a lovelt property!!!

What a strange renovation. You can tell that money was put into it, but without the direction of a skilled designer. Modern juxtaposition with the traditional exterior is fine, but it will take a huge amount of work to give this the cohesive luxury feel that it deserves. Worth it though. It could be stunning.

Crazy how a house in Kensington would cost 10 million and this huge property is only about 4. Mental to think about really. Great example on how location and maintenance costs play such a big role in real estate value.
