I make a very similar chili bread. I add a big handful of corn chips to a food processor, then pulse a few times to a corse crumb. I add %75 to the dough, and save a quarter for the top. Adds a delightful crunch, and a toasted corn flavor that plays well with the chili. Great video as always.

OMG this bread is amazing! The aroma in the kitchen when the loaf came out was to die for. Had to leave the kitchen in order not to cut it whilst it was hot. Which was SOOO difficult. The taste of the loaf to die for - thank you John xxx

Well John, I did try this. I searched many places to try to covert the recipe and thought I had it close enough. To be honest, it wasn’t fabulous but not a complete disaster either. I will keep trying or failing that, will try a bread recipe I know well and add the jalapeños and cheese as you have done. I have tried many of your recipes and purchased items you have suggested. So many thanks for doing what you do. Love to hear you speaking. I’ve been homesick for 60 years.

Freshly baked bread is sooo good smelling. One of my best memories of my childhood is my mother baking bread for the week. Getting a warm loaf heel, sliced off and buttered. So good.

This loaf looks delicious and I bet it tastes amazing. When I used to bake in a farm shop we used to experiment with different flavours of bread. We even crushed up some pork scratchings and worked it into the dough with a bit of oil. It flew off the shelves. Thank you for sharing all your delicious recipes 😍
