Thank you for the close-up shots of the counter sheets. I've been trying to figure out why I can't use a couple of the Expansion pack scenarios for lack of Polish and Italian counters and found my answer here. I have SK 1 and 3, but not 2. I planned to get this one anyway, but it's difficult to find.

Also, each starter kit is self contained.
Meaning, you don't really need #1 in order to play #2.

I have this as well.
I can't say enough good things about the ASL starter kits.
They are great games in and of themselves, and also act as a good beginning spot if one wants to advance into ASL proper.

I have been thinking about that green paper so bear with me. I think when Compass games or whoever sorted and colated the game that that had each element in stacks in a line on a large table. All the rulebooks, then all of map 1(?), then map 2 etc. I think that maybe when the first table or side of a table or whatever's contents were put in the box it was checked and if correct a paper was put in then the rest of the content was put in. This way at the end if a QC person found something wrong for the second half they didn't have to go all of the way to the bottom of the box to check for missing player aid two. Or . . . this is the special origami bonus edition. I'm not sure which.

The green paper, I believe, is to act as a "divider" between rules sections.
Or, I'm wrong.
