I wanted to get this done before the holiday season got busier and when a nice day presented itself here in Georgia. Purpose of this video is to show the viewer a possible solution for treating your beehives that have Apimaye bottom boards (plastic) with a standard oxalic acid wand. This instruction is to provide a way to not melt your Apimaye bottom board during treatment. Let me know in the comments below if you have any questions! Merry Christmas!

Not bad. I built myself a 1/2 thick plywood bottom board that is same dimensions as Apimaye's bottom board. I cut out a hole in the center almost the same size as heating pan. Attached wand underneath the new board. When ever I need to OA my bees, I walk to back of hive, I slide out the Apimaye bottom board. I load a dose in pan and slide new bottom in and give the bees a treatment. Bottom is totally sealed. No smoker needed. No screwdriver needed. No OA shirt needed.
