Damn this song hit my emotions and life like a slap in the face. I am normally not much into country but the morale around this song makes me want to listen to more songs. If I may vent a little, none of you have to respond or do anything. Just to get my story shared a little. Basically I spent almost my entire high school with a man and I did anything and everything I could to show him how much he meant to me. I lost myself along the way and I eventually lost him. He decided to hook up with my childhood best friend behind my back for over 2 out of the 4 years of our relationship. I only just recently broke up with him and I did not realize how much he impacted and hurt me. Now I have been left with trying to repuzzle and fix myself back together. 'I thought I miss you but I miss me more.' That is all I really had to vent about, thank you if you read. If you didn't, it's cool I just wanted to share my thoughts on the song.
