Ok guys and gals, There has been alot of buzz around Garmin recently releasing the new GT56 and GT36 UHD transducers.

I wanted to go ahead and make a video comparing the standard Gt54 to the new GT56 and hopefully answer any questions you may have about it.

I will cover specs of each transducer as well as what units the new GT56 is compatible with.

These units are set to start shipping here in the next couple of weeks and i can't wait to get my hands on one to see the performance it has to offer!

Once i finally get my hands on a gt56 you can bet i will be doing a gt54 vs gt56 on the water comparison so if you haven't already subscribe and turn on notifications for my channel to be updated for when that moment arrives!

Thank you guys for the support!

Dear friend, I asked this question to your competitors, but what is being done so that the Active Target kit shows at least the same as Garmin's Panoptix Livescope?, and what are you doing to make your product show fish in troubled waters?

Great Video Content Capt!!! Question: Does the GT54 work with the Echomap Plus 93SV Unit? I know it will with the Echomap UHD 93SV.

I am getting a 1243 xsv. Fishing coastal 250 feet or less in the ocean. Would I be better off with the 52, 54, or 56? I won’t want to spend extra if I don’t need it. Thanks!

Hi thanks for the video. I am new to fishing and have a 4 inch lowrance without gps or sideview or anything. I have seen the Garmin UHD 93sv for $650 with GT54 transducer. I fish in the lakes around Raleigh NC, mostly fishing shallow at the moment. You mentioned that the great thing about the GT56 is its flexibility with all the different frequencies (KHZ). Can you please explain what that means? Does a newbie need that? Thanks!

Hi, excellent video. I have an old 72sv with CV52HW-TM, do you think it’s worth upgrading to the new echomap uhd with the GT56UHD-TM ?

Nice video. I have a 73sv on my bow. I just got a great deal on a 93sv both are Echo Map units. Can I remove the 73 and add the 93 without changing the wires harnessing? or are the wires dedicated to each unit?

Very informative . Does the same transducer 10' extender cable work with the 56 and that 54 ? 12 pin or 8 pin ?

Bass pro has put a 12 inch garmin echo on sale for 1600 so im thinking of buying it, in ad it says no balck box needed??Does that mean i dont need pan optix for forward facing sonor which is what im looking for, , i have a 9 inch lowrance hook tripleshot that does great job but no forward facing sonor, , ,

Do you think you'll have any live shots before Black Friday? I'm probably going to buy one or the other. I know the 54 will be on sale for a few hundred less than the 56 though.
