Hi Friends, I had a great time visiting Nashville recently and I got to spend time with Bassplayer, Songwriter and Producer Steve Cook. Steve shows us his process of recording remote bass sessions (online session work), walks us through his bass recording chain and shares tips on how to ramp up your dexterity and playing skills. Please enjoy the video, like, share and of course comment! I love reading everything you have to say! Have a marvellous time making music!! Many thanks Warren

Was thinking of picking up that Acme Motown DI but after this video I am starting to look at the Noble as well. Decisions...

I started out thumbing. Definitely palm muting has its virtues. :)

The thumbnail looked like it said "RECORDING ASS"

Sorry to sound mean, but the video title implies that you would demonstrate things like setting the BASS levels on the DI and in the DAW. Maybe some panning or effects techniques to get a pro sounding bass track. There wasn't even a play through of the isolated bass track.

Warren, I have a cheap ART DI. Should I get a Radial or save and get something pricier like a Countryman 85? Is the difference that big? Thanks!
