Feldbahn Dossenheim 600 mm | Steinbruch Leferenz [2022]

Private Feldbahnanlage mit 900m Gleislänge, Spurweite 600 mm mit Blechschwellen.
Die reine Fahrstrecke beträgt 280 m.
Es gibt 19 Weichen, 3 Drehscheiben, den Grubenbahnhof und einen Bremsberg.

I.d.R. an zwei jährlichen Fahrtagen besteht Gelegenheit, die Anlage zu besichtigen und auch mitzufahren.

This is wunderbar! Probably the greatest collection of Narrow Gauge mining and construction railroading I have ever seen. That display with the track work and a great View from the top was worth the admission alone. Luckily we have one at a small mining Museum in Wisconsin USA

En Costa Rica hay un Feldbahn construido por un suizo. Sube a una montaña donde construyó un restaurante rotatorio. Hotel los Héroes, Volcán Arenal. Hay un lago espectacular.

9:05 - I saw a couple of these small turntables in use at the roundhouse in Hieflau Austria in 1970. Used to move small flat cars with coal tubs for the locomotives (52's I believe).

The collection of equipment at this place is wonderful!
