I just ordered one of these for my sons first 20inch. He weights like 48lbs and can basically only bunny hop and wheelie. Also i paid like $289 on sale at albes... ive been riding my entire life and im 35 now. Its crazy how much things have changed. Hopefully this bike lasts a little bit for my little guy. I get why you gave it bad review tho lol. I wont be trying to ride this thing im 6'6 210 and ride a custom McNeil deuce deuce. Thanks for the review. Cool channel. Good info.

That's a fantastic presentation of the Curb without outright shitting on it, Doug. It has its purpose and audience but I agree that you're better off spending just a little more and getting something with less mild-steel and preferably sealed bearings in an integrated headset. A bike such as the Curb needs constant maintenance or it will go to pieces prematurely and probably cause the rider to get hurt.

got this bike for 100$ but it’s the 2012 model….. rides pretty dam good for the things i have put it through. got a sealed bb it on it them older style bmx bikes seem to be a bit more durable… but it’s a great bike.. a headset kit wouldn’t hurt though

I wish Kink and other companies had more color options in their mid to high tier completes. I'm super happy with my Switch. But having a choice of colors is always good.

I'm 14 and mostly just ride on streets and do jhops and wheelies with my brother, not tryna seem rude and entitled by asking for a 500-600 dollar bike for my bday, would this bike work for me?

I've just picked up one for my eleven year old, he's not riding parks or anything, it's just something for him to buzz around on to his pals etc..
It'll be thrown on the ground, probably left out in the rain and generally knocked around.
At £169, if it lasts him a year, I'll be fine with it.

My honest opinion is you’d get a lot more people into bmx if you didn’t talk so much shit about pretty much every bike under 450 bucks. I just got my 4 year old a kink carve (16” bike) and figured id get one to ride around with him. Might try some tricks here and there but wasn’t looking to spend a ton of money and most of the bikes under 500 bucks you bash so hard and almost pushed me away. I ended up buying a verde cadet for 211 bucks on source bmx. Could only imagine what you’d grade my new bike. But I don’t really care. I’m 185 lbs and 5’7” and I use to ride a lot in my teens and never had a issue with the “cheaper” bikes. So I’m sure I’ll be just fine with my verde.
