Chadwick sure was humble when he was still alive. Glad I got to see him in person at Comic-Con International 2017. Definitely selfless to acknowledge an ordinary man who risked his own life to save others by inviting him on that stage with him. Respect.

I tell you what, I wasn't even a watcher of All My Children, but I cried for that lady that night and I still tear up when I see it. NO ONE wanted to take that award from her again and she had more than earned it with her time and hard work.

A lot of those moments are amazing: Shemar Moore screaming “The streak is over” about Susan Lucci, Chadwick Boseman giving his award to James Shaw, and the Tony Awards dedicating a ceremony to the Pulse shooting victims & survivors… 😭🤧

Beyonce is so sweet. It was Taylors first award won and her moment almost got ruined. Beyonce has won several awards and won again that night, she has had her moments in the spotlight and its great she let Taylor come back up to have her time to shine.

The moment that is #4 on this list is my favorite for sure. To watch and hear about folks at the 70th Tony awards for the Pulse night club shooting was amazing. What James Cordon, Frank Langella and Lin Manuel Miranda all said was nothing more than simply precious, beautiful and very much respectful, I also hope that Club Q in Colorado Springs can recover and thrive beautifully once again for all that they have endured. For no matter where you come from and no matter how you identify yourself, there must always be a safe place for all folks to go for entertainment and not worry that something bad will happen to them while there are at that place.

You forgot to mention Standing Ovation for Martin Scorsese at 2020 Oscars. Easily, one of the wholesome momentsin Oscar's history.

I may not be a huge fan of her overall, nothing personal just not my taste, but Dolly Parton TRULY IS a class act and always has been.

That being said, I do like the song ‘9 to 5’ and it’s accomplish film.

Beyoncé is another one. I don’t really care about either one, but Beyoncé giving Taylor her moment and the genuine shock and outrage she displayed toward Kanye say a lot about her character. This was the prime def of this vid to me.

I feel like the Kanye incident is so infamous and talked about that Beyonce's generosity for Taylor and letting her have her moment moments after the incident gets overlooked a lot which is sad and goes to show that the media loves drama, controversy and shock factor rather than good news or acts of kindness even if someone tries to make amends

Top 3 (In my opinion):
1. In Memory of Martin Luther King Jr.
2. Two Heroes
3. Ving Rhames gives his award to Jack Lemmon
2nd and 3rd spots would be the best moments of respect because they showed respect by sacrificing their win for others, and 2nd spot had two sacrifices, that's deep, also one of them was not known for their heroic actions at the time until another hero spoke it out at the awards, however, it was the dedication to Marther Luther King Jr that showed the most respect not only of any award shows, but possibly one of the biggest moments of respect of all-time because it showed the respects of civil right with others who are different to us, that sounds like a real heroic speech to me.

My mom used the tv as a babysitter every summer through the 80’s. I cried so hard when Susan Lucci finally won her Emmy.
