Brazil has 26 stars, but the map is actually very erroneous. We also have the Southern Cross in our flag. The lone star above our motto is dedicated now to the only Brazilian state above the Ecuador line: Pará. Before that, it was dedicated to the capital, Brasília.

You know what we need? A stressball shaped like Canada ball. It would be so cute....

If I remember my history class right, fun fact: Canada's flag was originally supposed to be red, white, and blue as well. It was supposed to be a red maple leaf (check) on a white background (check) with two blue stripes on the edges (semi-check). I guess they ran out of blue paint when they made them ~.


The real reason it was changed was that Parliament thought it would be too French and too American if the strips were blue, despite the original symbolism that was meant to mean the two oceans on either side of Canada, the Leaf.
