Yes! Thank you CBS Sunday Morning! I cannot stress enough how absolutely *DONE* I am with corporate jargon, workplace buzzwords and lingo, and corporate-speak. This stuff truly grinds my gears. And don't even get me started with LinkedIn influencers, hustle gurus, "grindfluencers, " passive income hustlers, etc. Why can't anyone in corporate America ever just *TALK NORMALLY??!!*

My last boss spoke in nothing but workplace buzzwords. While actually saying nothing.

The one I hate the most is "transparency." The more a company tries to make them transparent, the more the hide.

The entire corporate scene and its lame attempt at being more "hip" than anything previous. Not impressed. Years ago, at the grocery store I'd come across employees from a department (produce, for example) standing around in a circle while their manager gave them a hearty pep talk. At the end they all clap their hands and root for their "team" -- yuck, do that somewhere else where I don't have to see it. In the back, behind doors.

This is my everyday. I’m a baby boomer new to the corporate world. I still think PFMEA is an antibiotic

I've never heard "boil the ocean" and I've been around corporations and its jargon in some way or another for a long time

I don't like corporate buzzwords because I don't much like corporations. They're part of the problem.

Buzzwords and jargon are nothing more than obfuscation. In my most recent line of work, I was taught never to use them.
