First off you can tell this doctor has never experienced PUPPPs herself. This was a horrible rash that I experienced for 4 months day in and day out. It was extremely uncomfortable especially when i was pregnant. They said it would go away when i gave birth but it actually got worse and i experienced PUPPPs until i was 9 weeks PP. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. If you’re looking for answers, this doctor isn’t it ! I really dislike doctors who shrug off things instead of really trying to help the patient. Don’t settle with a doctor like this !

Worse than it really is?! Obviously you e never had a rash during pregnancy. Up all night because the itch is so intense and nothing soothes it. Then up all day because you have a family to care for. Unable to wear most clothing due to the fabric causing pain. Or the looks on the faces of strangers at the sight of your blistered skin. Don’t brush this off as if it isn’t a big deal. I assure you, if you happen to ever have a patient with any form of puppps, it IS a big deal to them. I wound up delivering at 36 weeks due to iugr, which is thought to have been caused by the pemphigoid gestationis I had developed.

“It looks worse than it is” ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! It look exactly how it is painful ! I am 35 weeks, been suffering with it for two weeks so far & honestly it’s the worse part of my pregnancy. I’ll rather morning sickness or anything again. It itches uncontrollably it’s ridiculous! I get roughly around two hours of sleep because the itching gets worse at night! I itch and itch & now it has started to spread about my navel and on my sides. Not only does it itch but there’s also days where it burn like hell! I’ve try itch powders, itch creams absolutely no relief! Today it burned like never before & I ran to get ice...it cooled it down. My mom then burned some flour ( helps for diaper rashes) and put it on my belly all over & it stopped itching instantly! Five hours later the itch is back & I’m about to repeat what I did earlier. I wouldn’t wish this on my worse enemy!

I had PUPPP and the o my thing that helped was a soap I got a vitamin store called “grandpa’s pine tar soap” it works but you have to be consistent and don’t stop! I used to wash my belly 3-4 times a day and by week 1 1/2 to 2 weeks it was almost gone! I kept washing my belly to make sure it wouldn’t come back and it did not! The cream the drs prescribed never worked for me but the “grandpa’s pine tar soap” worked. I was miserable and had nothing to lose so I tried everything, I’m so glad this stuff worked

I had PUPPPs with my first baby. It was HORRIBLE! I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. But she’s right. As soon as I had my baby the itching stopped.

Hello guys, she mentioned the "3rd trimester" is it possible to get it in the 1st trimester? Coz I think I have it and I'm only 13 weeks...it's been like 2 weeks of itching

I am almost 5 weeks and I had it as soon as I hit 4 weeks. This rash is killing me, it wakes me up at night for a good 2 hours, which consists of me scratching as if I want to peel my skin off and feeling like I want to cry. It even wakes my partner up and keeps him up until it eases. Has anyone else had it this early?? All the blogs/vlogs I have seen all say it occurs in the 3rd trimester or post partum.

Doctors said third trimester but I'm 22weeks and have been experiencing this since the start of my second trimester. Nothing works! Not even natural remedies (garlic)... I'm just drinking cerasee tea and hoping it helps to purge my blood (old wives tale).... Just to ease the hitch.

Uh not cool. So itchy and doctors just give you steroid cream to manage but it doesn't go away. Mine stayed until over a month postpartum.
