My Papa (stepfather) is doing these things now. He's so weak he can't get himself into a comfortable position in bed, and he naps almost incessantly.

I pray every night his passing will be peaceful and painless.

My beautiful Mama did all of these things before dying suddenly in my Arms helping her back into chair January 4, 2024 Death was so sudden, shocking how fast she went from normal to dying. The emptiness, loneliness, the void is crushing. I wish I could hug her again, or just tell her I love her. This video short Julie made was 100% my Mother weeks before the Angels took her Home. Today may be your loved ones tomorrow, make it count with kindness, hugs and “I love You”

My husband was going through all these things.
His body was becoming weaker & weaker. Hw couldnt even stand up anymore.
We noticed even our family furry baby would not climb on his lap anymore. My husband had noticed that too.
Makes me think she knew his body was dying.
My husband told me it wouldn't be long before he'd be going to be with Jesus.
It was exactly 3 mos. when he passed.

While my Mom was at home, a month prior to her passing, she craved many of her favorite foods. Even things that were not her normal diet. I made her everything she wanted too! Albeit, I didn't know she was going to pass away. It was when she went to the hospital she stopped eating. Maybe a week before. It's coming up 2 years she has been resting in Paradise.

Our aged cat was getting very frail. The vet said we would know when he was ready to go. He would go off his food, which he did about a week before he slipped into a coma. The vet said while he was hungry he was very much enjoying being alive.

I did caretaking for my father-in-law, and he went through all those things! When he could no longer walk, he had to go hospice at the V.A. hospital. This was all during Covid. I could tell stories because that was the first time I ever did caretaking. I never wanted to do work like that--it's my sisters who became nurses! It ended up that I did really, really good at it! He and I got connected. He always hated me, but both of us ended up bonding. What an experience! I wish I had watched Nurse Julie!!!❤❤

Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2012. Been under hospice for over a year. I'm getting there. Staying home and long naps. When you know you're dying, you can't help but to reflect on what purpose you gave to this world. You just want to think and be alone. The anxiety is the worse. I often feel so tired I don't think I'll wake up if I sleep. It's EXTREMELY scary and you can't think of anything else.

My GF was 82 at her passing. Extend the 3 months to 2 years with her health and mental decline starting 5 years earlier (i am 76). Her whole family had heart issues and she lasted longer than any of them. I caught heck after her passing from family and friends who could not be bothered to visit and give me some help so I could keep them informed during her passing. I appreciate your videos to educate people to observe issues like someone preparing to pass which is what she did. It was difficult to acknowledge her drifting in and out of dementia for her last 6 months as well as changing her diapers. I had her medical power of attorney and she wanted a DNR which the doctor honored. Again, thank for these informative videos.

Sounds like my mom is now, to the tea. Her skin has gotten real thin too, and yellowish.. She has lost over 20kg the last months. But her doctor is oblivious to any of the symptoms, and ignore us. Claiming our observations must be 'something wrong with they're eyesight'. My mom's nurses says the doctor should have been fired years ago, that all patients complain about everything from that the doctor chews morphine in her office, and forgets sending people to needed specialists, to that she ignores peoples symptoms. And she don't read or update people's medical journals. I've cared for dying family members, both my grandma's and my dad. I've seen these signs before. My sons, and my mom and I, are preparing for our dear Mimmi to depart and be non-physical. From cleaning up the clutter in her house and pack up most things, to prepare the room she will be in. She got a hospital bed, but we need to make her space clean and cozy. It's ok, we feel you are helping us, Julie. We might not have mom's latest doctor on our side, but we got you and each other. As long as we can make arrangements for her lying on hospice at home, having support in her nurse, we can do this. Thank you for being our support system and for everything you do for all of us on this channel - and in Life. Much love from Norway 🇧🇻🙏🏻💝

After fighting & refusing showers for 4 months, suddenly this afternoon, when our nurse got my husband up to get in his wheelchair & get ready to eat, she said, "Let's go get good a shower!" And he said Ok! I couldn't believe it. He also ate 2 full meals and let us roll him around the block with the pups. They sat outside on the patio. Exhausted, though, he wanted to go to bed super-early. I wish it was this way every day, but usually, he sleeps A LOT, is hostile, and won't cooperate in doing daily activities. Today was so unusual, but I'm thankful.

Thank you so much for this! The things you’re discussing are so sacred & personal & for some spiritual. The ‘visual’ and actual of watching life end for someone you love is so devastating it’s like you’re watching from outside your own body. Everything you do here is pitch perfect. These uncomfortable unforgettable details seem bareable. You have care in your words. I know it’s your profession but it’s definitely your gift.

Thank you so much for these videos because the last couple months I’ve been watching and everything you said happen. My mom passed away on 1/26/24 in hospice care in Vegas cause she had complications that we couldn’t handle at home but the hospice people were the most sweetest, kindest people even had the chaplain come in and sit with her the morning of her death. Hopefully they give her peace. We all said are goodbyes later that night at 7:15 she passed I took care of her for 10 years.24/7 now I don’t know what to do with myself I feel lost 😢

I'm dying with stage 4 cancer. I've been on hospice for over a year now. Honestly, I FIGHT DEATH WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE! I've been a Christian (I think) all my life. Then you watch these videos of NDE and many Christians claim they go to hell. But I know I don't have long. Staying home, alone is where I'm at today. So, if you read this 3 months from now, shout out to see if I'm still alive. No response means I'm gone.

I refer a lot of family members to you when I cannot explain things. Thank you so much for the knowledge you share and the comfort you give. There have been several I have referred, including a few of my own friends, that you helped realize they were not suffering and what was happening was a natural part of the dying process. THANK

Hi Julie I’m feeling super introverted and would prefer to stay in most of the time, I feel dozy and tired but sleep still evades me.
But I am beginning to experience a strange out of body sensation sometimes, it’s kind of like a wash over my body it’s very difficult to describe, it’s like dead leg you know when your leg falls asleep and you have to shake it back into action it’s kind of like that …. But it feels nice, there is no discomfort with the feeling 😊
