Bir şey ister misiniz? ... Would you like anything?
Evet, bir bira alabilir miyim? ... Yes, may I have a beer?
Evet, iki bira alabilir miyim? ... Yes, may I have two beers?
Nescafe alabilir miyim? ... May I have a Nescafe?
Sütlü veya sade? ... with milk or without?
sade = sütsüz = without milk
Başka bir şey ister misiniz? ... would you like something else?

Amazing video Mick Amca. Turkish is actually quite an efficient language in terms of getting your points across without saying too many words. I'll give your audience an example. "Where are you from?" (4 words in English) is "Nerelisin?" (1 word in Turkish).

Interesting. Im English and have travelled extensively throughout Turkey. The Turks dont over complicate things when it comes to language. Its much easier to say bir bira lutfen, (one beer please) Thats it. No grammar needed. Keep it very simple. You don't need to say alabilir miyim which as you say is a mouthful.

Mick, can you tell us what that first bit means please where you say this is what hotel or coach people say and this is what you respond with... What does that answer and reply mean, you don't explain.

this is first time i see you speaking english. i would say that british accent is horrible to understand. especially for a non native speaker. but yours is not :) and it is really funny for us to see a british man speaking slang turkish..
