My Goodwill opened here today in Dallas. The shelves were jammed packed. I was overwhelmed. I couldn't even think straight. Oh.. the thrill of the thrift.

The white pot is exactly like my granny's chamber pot when I was a little girl and I am 70 now. For use at night because you did not want to go stumbling in the dark to the outhouse.
We always had a modern bathroom but both sets of grandparents got their inside plumbing when I was growing up. A very big deal.

The stars are made from tobacco sticks. The baskets were used to collect the tobacco and the sticks were used to hang the tobacco to dry 🙂 I’m in Maryland and tobacco was a very large crop in our area back in the day 😉
