@Brian Weeks - thanks for your feedback Brian. You are right, this was an issue we felt we had to address. We have now made modifications to the original TeamO design to prevent the strop deploying unexpectedly. It can now only deploy in the exact situation it was designed for - when a sailor goes overboard but remains with the boat because they are clipped on by a harness/tether. Best wishes, TeamO

It looks great, but the harness is supposed to keep you from going overboard. If a wave pushes you toward the edge of the boat, a standard harness will keep you aboard, where this one looks like it would unravel an extra 2 or three feet and spin you around, which could put you halfway over the side in an unexpected turn. I'm not an expert, but I'll stick with my standard harness for now...

Do you ha e a choice on these life jackets to hookup either to the rear tow or to a front attachment

Why not just have the option of clipping onto the back of the harness ?
