Just purchased and installed a brand new Central Boiler Classic Edge 560 Titanium HDX - This thing is a real beaut! Two weeks ago the dealer showed me how to fire it up for the first time by dumping half a bag of charcoal briquets in the bottom, stacking some small staves of seasoned wood, and striking a road flare and throwing it in 😂 dude was NOT messing around! Since the weather here in the NE warmed up into the 80's, I let it go out due to almost no demand on the system. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 29°F and I'm gonna fire her up again (sans road flare lol). Thanks for the tips and the nice vid!

Central boiler seems like a good option. I'm not really knowledgeable about the different models, but I guess I would go with the latest model I think it is the edge Titanium HDX? I'm not sure how large of a unit to get, but I'm sure the dealer can help guide me. I use a wood burner in my basement. I love burning wood and I have a walk out that makes it pretty easy, but it would be nice to have the mess and dangerous part outside. Been wanting a boiler for years. I should have put one in when I built the house. I'm in SW Ohio and burn a descent amount of wood in our stove it's the primary source of heat once it gets cool enough to run full time. Nice to see you are constantly improving your setup instead of complaining about something you don't like about it. Thanks for the video.

I’m thinking about one over here in the uk I believe central boiler is the only one available, you can get Scandinavian ones but they are for indoor, they still are gasification units though

Great setup, smart to have everything under roof ! I’ve seen more boilers sitting out in the open away from the wood pile?
