Kudos to you doc i am a dentist
during my UG days i had a hard time understanding these arches.
And bow finally i understand fully

I always thought how the arches in cross section shows endoderm inside , cause when i try to imagine i couldn't imagine endoderm at the inner side of the arches,
but then you said I was visualising the wrong cross section

The cross section in bokks are actually from back of the embryo.

This is simply amazing! I am an MBBS passout, and throughout my graduation I've just mugged up these embryology topics. The books can't show you these 3d structures on a paper, and sadly the teachers (doctors) are totally incapable of putting in so much of an effort!..
