Now i realise the foreshadowing when Mr Park says "shes a good maid only real complaint is she can eat for two"

Anybody notice the kim's toilet is very high up? This is a symbol that they live even below the sewage.

I wonder how the college student reacted when he found out about what the Kims did lol.

The son promising to become wealthy to save his father from the basement could also be metaphorical of how children of lower class families are often burdened with unattainable financial aspirations, in an effort to pull their own families and parents out of debt/poverty. At least thats how my life seems.

I think the most beautiful irony was the destiny of the Kim family father, by avoiding a prison sentence he imprisoned himself

the scene where the little boy is eating cake and sees the man's head poking out from the basement gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it

The weird part is that there was an article going around by some website/magazine for rich people who think this movie was about the dangers of poor people

Jessicas regarded as the only person in the family who had the potential escape their situation, and smell is such a strong theme in Parasite, so I thought it was cool when the first thing she did in the Park's house was take a bath. Almost like she was washing the bad smell and burden of poverty off of her:)

The basement dude was the scariest guy in the movie for me

This movie was one long, slow panic attack.

The scene where the daughter smokes on top of a ravaging toilet, it’s like she gave up and realizes the hopelessness of their harsh, poor reality.

The scene where the rich kid fainted and Jessica was stabbed, the mother was holding the kid, the father could’ve literally carried Jessica or asked the driver to do so to take her to the hospital with their son but no, they literally just left her laying there carelessly! But their daughter who’s different from them who’s a girl literally carried Kevin on her back and rushed to help him.

The Kim family replaced the tutor, driver, and housemaid. And they replaced the guy in the basement.

I didn't realize this at first, but Da-Song, the son, drew those pictures of "the ghost". In the beginning, Kevin asks if it's a chimpanzee but the mom says no "it's a self-portrait". and then when plot changes, we see "the ghost" living in the basement, where his wife hid him, and he eats a banana in a weird/hungry way, like a chimpanzee.

Ki-jung death was really striking, because she was the one who looked most likely to overcome poverty through her wits and determination, which could also be a metaphor for those people who are moving up the ladder and then dragged back down to poverty by debt, mismanagement or straight up sabotage due to envy.

the fact that the rich were just able to move houses, to escape the situation while the poor were left with the aftermath. Furthermore they feed off of the poor and there's so so many metaphors. (the scene where the dog eats the sausages on the skewer connected to the homeless man's body) A metaphor for the rich feeding on the poor under any circumstances, feeding off of their lives for their own pleasure and valuables. This film was a masterpiece.

The scene where ki Woon mother kicks the old house maid down the basement portrays how lower class or poor people try to put each other down to rise up by licking rich people feet.

"she's rich but still nice"
"no, she's nice because she's rich"

The exact moment the doorbell rings, it marks the first part of the movie and takes a turn. It is exactly the middle of the script

There’s a really clever transition in the scene where their Semi-Basement is flooding where the old Maid that is heavily injured pukes in the toilet, the scene cuts to “Jessica” running to the bathroom and the toilet seems to “spit at her” with the overflowing water.
