My wife and I witnessed the comet on both the 1st and the 2nd at around 5 in the morning in West Virginia. Was pretty cool to see something like that. Even got a great picture of the comet in the daybreak.

The Pleiades is the only DSO I can observe in a light polluted city. My 25x100 binoculars have the ideal 3 degree field of view, they give total Immersion. It's a great joy to observe them.

I dream of a quiet life sitting with my partner on a terrace with a solid telescope to star gaze to my heart's content. I would often star gaze with my father in a rustic little town of Nepal where I spent my early childhood. I miss the clear skies n unpolluted landscape of the town. I could also see the snow clad Himalayas from my balcony n terrace. This was 35 years ago. I wish I could go back to those times. I miss my dad. I miss those times.

I have a suggestion, please add timelines for different countries. For Eg. When you say meteor shower peaks at midnight in US .. will that be the same reference for other countries in different timezones too !
