Bugs and glitches are an unfortunate reality in video games. You could blame it on QA – when the reality is that most are overworked and outright ignored, even when critical issues are highlighted repeatedly – but even the most polished games can have issues.

I don't remember the details but Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Wii had a game breaking bug too. Nintendo solved it by letting users download, not a patch, but a piece of software which "treated" the corrupted save file. Pretty weird, but it worked.

How can this video be made without mentioning the Skyrim Slowdown bug, where the longer you played on the ps3 the slower the game would get, eventually just ceasing to exist lol that bug plagued me 2 separate times lol

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Saved Data Corruption, people are still speculating what part of the Pokemon Go connectivity patch/New Raids actually caused it.

Missingno. will not "break" your game. All it does is corrupt the Hall of Fame data, it doesn't affect your save file.

Interestingly, if you catch one that is above level 100, drop it in your PC, then check it's stats while it's in the PC, and then withdraw it, it will turn into a Rhydon. This is interesting enough (but makes sense, as Missingno. is effectively a Pokemon #0, and Rhydon was the first programmed in), but if you battle with it, it will revert to level 100, but will still gain EXP, and going forward, can exceed level 100.

Fallout 4 Preston Garvey! A great glytch where he gets stuck on the prydwyn air ship. Literally sitting silently in mid air above the ground below. I smacked him with a machette a few.times to bring him out of it! ¹

It is f*cking 2023 and people still think that Missingno can destroy save files. This is 100% not true! Do not confuse Missingno with other glitches in rby. I am so tired of having to say this. Do more than 5 seconds of research.
