Thank GOD 7 inches rain last week and over 4 days so we didn't flash flood. Sincere prayers for those who got hit hard. We were very dry before that.

My Granddaughter Ayla graduated from Cattle Visions AI school last weekend, she was already an EMT. She will be inseminating our Angus cows and 7/8 South Poll heifer in July with Judy semen.

Dear Monsieur Greg Judy, if I remember correctly the method used by our French specialist to count earth Worms by square meter (décimal metric system !) was to mix french strong mustard (Dijon !) with water and pour it on to make them run to the top (they are annoyed but it doesn't kill them!) French lazy way to not want to dig! Sorry I don't remember correctly the proportion.... Either his name at the moment, sorry again, je wrote so much about earthworms all over the World and some végétable growers APPLIED his Principles for farming both green Houses and plain fields and they are so successfull right now, a New prospect to go out of conventionnal farming and getting back their marges, as you said it, no more chemical fertilizing, just be sure to produce enough fresh organic matter on the top to feed them, and when they are back, in just a year, you will have to put a lot of it!!! It's so helpfull and heartwarming to see your successfull management on your pastures, the impressive body confort and score and condition of your COWS going out of winter, the satch with the growing green, even if they have dry hay that you propose, make the perfect balance for perfect poos and urines, Ph#7 too as your earthworms turds, small and Big because you must have the two species, surface and deep down, that I can't remember properly their names either, sorry Again ! Hope you get all the good moisture that you deserve for the work of all the biology in your soils! God bless you all family friends and crew.

Cape Girardeau, MO got almost 10in of rain last week. Ditches are blown out, river is way up, and even 2 small tornados. Also couple of storm related deaths, it was bad.

Thanks for the video! It sure is greening up there. I am guessing we are about 2 weeks or so behind you. Last year at this time our place looked a lot better because it was warmer. It was almost in the teens the other night. We are going to get rain sometime today. Some places people are getting flooded rains.

Greg since you have a lot of armor on your littler bank would you be more likely to square up your paddocks for your herd to maximize the area you are feeding? That soil is cottage cheese, that's your organic matter that holds the glues together in order for your soil to capture your rainfall without runoff.

Good afternoon Greg, thanks for making me jealous, I’ll be feeding hay for the rest of the month potentially. Anyway on that note, how much earlier have you been able to stop feeding hay since you have managed this way? I usually don’t get out till the first of May! And I have been flipping cow pies this past week, no worms. 😢I do wonder though if it has something to do with the fact that my pastures are submerged for as long as 3-4 days every 3 weeks in the summer….
