Sheepshead Bay to Plumb Beach | Walking in Brooklyn NYC | Beach and Ocean Ambience ASMR

Walking Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn NY to Plumb Beach, just south of Gerritsen Beach. We start the walk on Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay and walk by the marina that is home to fishing and whale watching boats, as well as the Ocean Avenue Foot Bridge. Along the way we will see many people out enjoying a nice summer afternoon in Sheepshead Bay along the marina.

Along the way, we will pass the Fish and Tackle shop and some boat clubs, before coming to the bike path that runs along the side of the Belt Parkway. It is here we will enter Plumb Beach a couple of times. The first time we enter the beach, we will take a trail that leads to the north part of Plumb Beach where the beach is mostly quiet, and take a look at a washed up abandoned boat.

We will then make it back onto the bike path where we will continue on with the rest of the journey and make it to the main entrance of Plumb Beach where the rest stop on the Belt Parkway is located.
Here we will find the majority of beach goers and the kite boarding community that has grown over the years.

so cool! I only saw plumb beach mentioned before on an instagram post with park rangers talking about horseshoe crabs, and somehow I thought it was like some off limits place. that's awesome to see that you can walk there from sheepshead bay, and I always wondered about that purple building that said something beach.. derr... well lol I guess now I know that's where this beach is!

A bit on the windy side (some of the gusts shook my speakers) Use to love walking around places like those. Just land and trees by myself. Strange that I didn't keep that up as I got older. Thanx for memories of long ago S'k'W.
