# Avik Mukhopadhyay: The Lens Master of Indian Cinema | BFA's Technicians’ Studio Episode 1
One of the most distinguished Indian cinematographers based in Kolkata, Avik Mukhopadhyay speaks through his camera. His repertoire includes working in films by Mrinal Sen, Aparna Sen, Rituparno Ghosh, Shoojit Sircar, Sujoy Ghosh, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Srijit Mukherji, Abhijit Chowdhury, Shaad Ali, Suman Mukhopadhyay and Bauddhayan Mukherji. A multiple-National Award winner, Avik is known for his work in of ‘Chokher Bali’, ‘Patalghar’, ‘Raincoat’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Antaheen’, ‘Bhooter Bhobisyot’, ‘Sardar Udham’, ‘Deep 6’, ‘October’, ‘Pink’ and ‘I Want to Talk’.
