Показать описание
The video shows the construction of a big high voltage ferrite transformer. It is intended to feed a DC voltage multiplier for calibration purposes.
The core is made of 32 I93 N87 Ferrite cores and weighs about 10kg.
The secondary has 1500 turns and the maximum output voltage is 100 kV peak

Your “normal” size flyback is already pretty big 😂 the big one is a monster for sure ❤

Id like to see a video with some arcs from this massive flyback

If you used a thicker winding you would have gotten the biggest high voltage high current high freq transformer iv ever seen but its still cool

Excellent job! Mayhaps you could try a capacitor, like a sheet of metal?

very nice work but thing you should maybe have used a bobbin with space's between adjacent windings for secondary to reduce capacative reactance? How many lairs on secondary one or more? can you please show what it can also? how are you driving it zvs half bridge full bridge? what frequency? is it efficient? whats its idle current and voltage? it would be really nice to see more

impressive size, but the presentation was a tad bit anticlimactic tho
