Well demonstrated Peter, especially love the second drill about removing the right hand. It's so simple and effective to practice. Cheers

Put a tee infront of the ball helps gets your hands forward & is great on feedback.

Kostis has recently been advocating straightening the trail leg on the up swing, even noting that Billy Hurley lacks distance because he doesn't straighten his leg. Oh my. Does Kostis not grasp skeletal geometry? Every little bit of leg straightening will alter all the angles above, and no amount of muscularity can change that fact. The swing becomes more difficult, requiring additional timing in re-flexing, and encourages reverse pivot, not to mention it can lead to lower back injury. Straightening is one of the most natural things to occur in the golf swing, but also one of the most destructive. Practically everyone does it when first taking up the sport. Obviously, many golfers have adapted different type swings in order to accommodate, but it is not the most efficient way to swing. Staying flexed requires learning, and greatly simplifies the motion, allowing more energy to go into the hit. Kostis should study Jason Day before flappin his jaw. Day stays flexed about as well as anyone, and hits the ball further than most. No one keeps the trail knee perfectly still, but the objective should be to keep it flexed same as at address. Encouraging straightening is counter productive.

a lot of these guys just use a wedge for their demo's and the wedge is pretty easy to hit
Wish they would use about a 5 iron

Showed Paul casey after he won last week. Looks the business. Think he's not finished yet either. Major in the next five years could happen. Good drills.

forward shaft lean is important but so is the low point. to hit crisp iron shots you need 3 things: forward shaft lean; slight descending angle of attack; and your divot in front of the ball.

Leaning the handle forward at impact will result in open clubface! So the left hand grip got to be stronger at Address to neutralize this or close club face at address and when you lean clubshaft you’ll be square

Mr. Director, he's talking about forward shaft lean at impact.  Why would you intentionally screw up a decent lesson by shooting a down the line shot?  Thanks for wasting Mr. Kostis' time and mine as well!  Get your shit together please!!

most of these teachers have been scratch golfers since high school. They grooved swings as children that makes perfect contact. I dont think they cwn teach amateurs well because they dont know what it is like.

How this guy was ever on tv as an analyst is beyond me. He is a staggeringly poor teacher.
