Kawasaki Z900 | Engine Restoration.

The Z900 is quite new, but the engine has problems and needs repair.
This makes the mechanic quite surprised because this is a motorcycle that is considered by the motorcycle world to be of good quality.

most likely user related damages. I would imagine these particular engines could last upward of 100k miles? maybe more if not abused and well maintained. Possible, but non likely, that this resulted from factory defect.

Seems it had a hard life before see 2:02 and 2:11 thats insane just running on the same oil the last few years seeing those crank bearings.

Dince this is a relatively recent model, the terms "rebuild" or "recondition" would be more appropriate than "restoration" ehich is usually reserved for older or classic vthicled.
