This is so true, to get good at building, it takes a lot of trial and error, hard to get something right your first try, so you have to keep trying to you get it right.

Thank god you said it! I’ve known this about myself for a long time, the things I’m “not good at” I’ve always been able to be really good at if I tried and put effort and energy into it. When I first started minecraft building I would complain to my friend that I couldn’t build pretty and big things like him then when I felt like that was what I really wanted I tired and I obviously researched and now I can build huge beautiful builds in survival and finish them way before him and that’s because effort and energy and passion are what you need to be good at something, you don’t get something for nothing. Everyone or anyone who looks at something they want and says “nah it will take too long” doesn’t really want that thing the way it deserves to be wanted. My dad used to tell me (mostly referring to lollipops) if you can’t open it yourself you don’t want it bad enough. This taught me to be resourceful and determined and to always put energy and effort to the things I wanted. I found out what worked and what didn’t and I learned to observe and learn from others.

I think, it's not lazy if u build in survival mode... because u need time to collect the material first then you can build as you want, even take long time to complete the building..
I tried so hard to make like your design but, i have to find the materials first.. and that's not that easy because if you put your legs in wrong place, you will died because of fall damage..
