So I did some research and a little math for those who are curious here in California. A 3 day package for 3 parks which includes Epic Universe for 2 people came out to:
$1, 025.98 (for mid tier package)
Didn't get a flight and hotel bundle, but for the flight from LAX to Orlando I tried to find a good deal on a nonstop flight for June of next year (again, for 2 people) came out to:
$955.92 ( roundtrip, American Airlines economy class, choose seats option)
For the hotel, I tried to find the best deal close to the Universal parks. I found TownPlace Suites by Marriott Orlando Theme Parks (about 4 miles from Universal Orlando Resort). For 1 room, king size bed, couch and half kitchen came out to:
$500.40 (For 4 nights, $125 a night)
Add them up and the total trip is:

$2, 482.03
(for 2 people, not including park expenses, possible fees for Uber or Lyft to and from the hotel, parks, and airport.)
This is just a rough estimate of what a couple from over here in the west coast can expect for a trip like this. For a family of 4, you can pretty much go ahead and double that price more or less.
