IDEA Models 1/32 Nieuport 17 - Kit Review

A review of IDEA Models', 1/32 scale, Nieuport 17, WW1 fighter, Kit No. AP115, released in the early 1990's. Initially released by Hobbycraft in 1992.

This particular kit includes decals for the Nieuport 17 aircraft, flown by the Canadian WW1 ace, Billy Bishop. Both original WW1 markings, and that of the 1961 built, replica Nieuport, currently in the Canadian Aviation & Space Museum.

A very basic kit, with good potential for further detailing by the modeller, this kit includes some cockpit details, a simplified engine, and would be a straightforward build for most modellers.
