For me, the only one who have similar to Kroos is Xavi. The way he control the game, right foot or left foot is active, great defensive, control the ball is great too, patience to read the game and the tempo, and then accuracy passing is top notch. The two difference between him and Xavi is Kroos more opportunist than Xavi. Kroos often crossing to change the tempo and switching defensive line from LB or RB side to Winger side while Xavi is more short passer in the middle area to change the tempo and the last one is, Kroos is often to closing the hole side than Xavi. Example, when transition from defence to attack and then LB or RB is attacking the the wing side to helping LWF or RWF, or Central Back is join to attack, Kroos often to fills the gaps by his teammates a lot more rather than Xavi.

Overrated. Plays boring sideways passes to boost his sofascore numbers. Not close to Modric or Xavi or Iniesta or Busquets and that's obvious.
