A video of me explaining how to use MQTT with an ESP32. I use a DHT11. The ESP32 is programmed to transmit data to the Broker every 15 seconds. At the second part of the video, I show subscribing to the topics and receiving the data on a Windows client called MQTT.fx.

Or you could use a raspberry pi as the broker I think you can get a raspberry pi w for £9.00 so that would be the only payment and much faster than going to China and back

Hi. Have you ever had the issue where your ESP32 won't connect to wifi when using external power supply? im using the "doit esp32 Devkit V1". the Wifi works fine as long the board is connected to my PC. But if I power it from a phone charger, it sometimes works and other times not. its seems a bit random. But when powering the board from "VIN" with 5V, the Wifi NEVER works. Have you had the same issue? if so, I will be very greatfull if you could explain how you fixed it. Thank you for creating the amazing content you are sharing here on youtube.

As soon as I saw Arduino I lost interest in watching this. May be I should change my opinion about Arduino.
