Nothing to smile about. The UK needs the mother of all job creation plans, and/or prepare for some sort of UBI. Economic stimulus for too long has been directed into mostly unproductive areas of the economy, and after a decade or so, what we see is asset price inflation. Many other countries focus stimulus directly on job creation, and infrastructure.
