Taj Gibson of the Chicago Bulls crushes some heavy single leg RDLs with the landmine using great technique and a full range of motion, which is much easier said than done when you’re 6’9”. This is a tough exercise but he makes it look easy. Very impressive stuff!

Hi Ben,

Couple questions if you have the time.

Since the trap bar is a hybrid between a squat and deadlift would it be possible to do the trap bar 3 times a week? This would be the only lower body exercise other than a couple farmers walk finishers in my 3 day a week routine.

I'm more into Bulgarian split squats and trap bar D.L. For my lower body. I'm not into back squats and conventional deadlifts.

Would I need to add in any hams or gluts or would the trap bar x3 times a week be just fine. I know the trap bar is more quad dominate so I had to ask. Also those trap bar stiff legged D.L. From your one article online are

My plan would be to cycle between the trap bar D.L. and the Bulgarian split squats when ever I need a break from the other.
